A Study on quantitative analysis of Immune Globnlin level of joint fluid in Korean

Abstract
|
|
|
A quantitative analysis of the joint fluid immune globulin levels in several pathologic conditions, including rheumatoid arthritis, degenerative arthritis, traumatic arthritis and other,;, was attempted to evaluate the comparative value between the level of joint fluid and that of serum.
1. joint fluid-, were aspirated in 41 eases among those who visited Seoul National University with the chief complaint of joint swelling during the last 2 years and also, in 20 cases, sera were taken 4 f the purpose of comparison with that of joint fluid.
2. The Ig A level of joint fluid was about one third of that of serum but the Ig G and Ig M lever of joint fluid were approximately one half of serum level.
3. The highestyvalues`o Ig G, Ig M and Ig A were recognized in joint fluids of patients with heir matoid arthritis.
4. There were ro-significant differences between ´the levels of immune globulins of degenerative arthritis and traumatic arthritis.
